Would a transfer case and drive train from a 1969 Dodge D100 truck work for a 1965 D100?

Me and my friend recently acquired a 1965 Dodge D100 3/4 ton 4x4 flat deck. We plan on making a kick *** rock crawler out of it although it needs a new transfer case and drive train, but the man who gave it to us also gave us a 1969 D100 3/4 ton 4x4 for a parts truck (Its in WAY worse condition than the 65) but it has a good transfer case and drive train. They are both standard transmissions, the 65 has a slant 6 and the 69 has a blown 318. So my question is would the transfer case and drive train fit?
