I've got a really bad sort of throbbing/horrible pain on the side of my head, can anyone tell me what it is?

basically, my head randomly starts to hurt, but not my forehead, its the side of my head, beside my eyes, near the temples, and it really hurts. i keep pressing it with my fingers to relieve the pain, but it wont go, and its horrible! It hurts soooo muchh and my jaw also starts hurting sometimes, what is this? Can anyone please help? :/
