I had my impacted wisdom teeth removed 4 days ago, should i still be swollen and sore?

My jaw is still swollen, but has gone down quite a bit. my jaw feels really sore as well, i dont think it is dry socket because i dont have pain in the exctraction site, its just sore and i cant open my mouth very wide. Also this morning i smoked a cigarette (gently) and rinsed my mouth with salt water after, but i have had minor (very minor!) blood since.. i just want to know if any of this is normal or if i have a real issue going on
